Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2. As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio. Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to. We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us. From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.

@TypicalGamer @jogo The engine & tools team at Epic is reorganizing around delivering as many useful features and Verse capabilities as possible for building varied and feature-rich games. We had a UE5/UEFN split among the teams previously and now everyone is together.

Hey @TimSweeneyEpic, I love Ballistic and I know there's a dedicated community behind it. Let us at @JOGO buy it from you and we'll maintain, update and grow it. I'd be sad to see this mode just disappear... it didn't get the chance it deserved.

@TimSweeneyEpic Then free account owners that have this error message. I know a lot of lifetime players that have gotten it for false and or small reasons and can’t play again.

It’s important to spread this immediately, ayoslap bought a 500 dollar account form lzt, traded it to a friend who is OG owner to his account, and the 500 dollar account got banned. Once it got banned my friend took his account back and ayoslap is now threatening to leak his pdf.

@littlemankay So nothing happened? When I try to login it says my account is inactive. There’s no option for me to correct it, fix it or do anything.

EPIC GAMES ACCOUNT BAN WAVE + TOS UPDATE TO STOP PEOPLE FROM USING BOTS TO SELL/BUY ACCOUNTS. Stop skin checking your accounts! There's a new way Epic is inactive, and accounts now have a higher chance of being banned! The "Inactive" system has been removed and replaced with "Corrective Action Required." It's essentially the same principle, but much stricter. Accounts now have a higher risk of being permanently banned. Even skin checking on your account can further increase your risk of being banned.

@halfbakedSteve Hopefully, people with inactive-unable to login accounts can get some proper help. I’ve contributed a lot and still can’t sign in to my account because of that error message.

The best stuff to come, especially for players is really going to ramp up this year, we are all pumped to get the work done and out to players re: the launcher re-architecture + social w/voice + a community test that we’ll have more news on soon

Epic está planeando crear un equipo de desarrolladores que se reúnan a diario para priorizar el feedback de los jugadores, tomen acción para mejorar la experiencia de los jugadores y añaden actualizaciones de calidad de vida al juego. Apunta su director que no quiere crear falsas esperanzas y que hagan caso a todo el feedback, pero confía en que veamos esa mejoría en los próximos meses.
