I got the memo now. Morgan McSweeney was mugged, reported that to the police, followed all the processes. Any questions around this is just conspiracy theory territory, really. Let’s move along now. 🤷🏼‍♂️

@DrAnneDerry The fear and control exerted against medical doctors here is massive, to go against the narrative risks everything and sadly most doctors have mortgages, children and bills to pay so the coercion and control continues

@SKinnock Labour have lost all credibility on this issue, kinnock is a paid shill spouting rhetoric that is totally anti GP based, but happily you will be gone and forgotten at the next GE for generations to come

Doctors' surgeries are the front door of the NHS. The changes we've made mean that more patients now say that accessing their GP is easier. By working with GPs we have also reduced pressures on hospital waiting lists. Lots done, lots more to do.

Six weeks on Thursday Britain is going to wake up to a Reform landslide. Decades of entrenched Liblabcon control will be washed away like patterns in the sand by the onrushing tribe. It'll be a new beginning for Britannia & it'll be glorious to behold. Spread the word, vote Reform

When I was a pre-med student at Trinity College Dublin we had an “objective” lecture on abortion from the Irish State Pathologist Prof. John Harbison. He went through in great detail how abortions are performed and how they are not the simple “procedure” commonly assumed. What takes place was so grim and horrific. One of my fellow students fainted and the female students in particular were very uncomfortable. There is a reason the harsh reality is kept under wraps. And now imagine this horror happening to a fully formed baby. We have to be better than this.
Tim Stanley@timothy_stanley

Tonight peers vote on abortion: a social justice issue. In one ward, doctors fight to save a baby. In another, they kill a baby. The difference, very often, comes down to which baby is wanted or can be afforded. Where is the equality? Where is the fairness? 1/2

This morning. One GP practice. One hour. 240 clinical tasks before most people had started work. Four every minute. No political thanks. No headlines. Just a small teamy doing what they do every single day. When these practices close, nothing replaces them. Nothing.

Important observation from today's @Ipsos_in_the_UK voting intention figures. Reform vote share has clearly fallen over past 6 months Here is the Sept vs today Reform 34% ~ 28% Labour 22% ~ 21% Conservative 14% ~ 17% Greens 12% ~ 17% Lib Dems 12% ~ 9% So a 6 point fall for Reform in this past 6 months.

People on NHS waiting lists are being sent texts asking them to confirm they still want their appointment. Miss the text. Reply incorrectly. Change your phone number. And you can be removed from the list. So when you start seeing headlines saying waiting lists are falling, ask the real question: How many people were treated….and how many were simply removed? Because removing patients also reduces the numbers. Validation exercises like this are being carried out across trusts including the Southern Health and Social Care Trust within Health and Social Care Northern Ireland. A shrinking list doesn’t always mean a healthier system. Statistics matter….but so does how they’re created.

It’s time we changed the tone in politics in NI. Ministers must stop over-promising, and opponents must stop over-critiquing. If every Minister had unlimited money, most of the problems would already be fixed. Fact. But people can see the gap between announcements and delivery. With school builds heralded with fanfare yet no spade in the ground, environmental pledges while pollution goes unchecked, and major infrastructure like the A1 and A5 roads still sitting undelivered. The public deserve honesty about what can be done, transparency about what can’t, and scrutiny that is deep but fair. Let’s drop the political theatre and get busy fixing things. 🔧

🚨 46 MILLION PEOPLE STUDIED… AND THE RESULTS SHOCKED EVERYONE For years, many people feared that COVID-19 vaccines might increase the risk of heart attacks or strokes. But when researchers studied the medical records of nearly 46 million adults in England, they found the opposite. The data showed that after vaccination, the risk of major heart and artery problems actually decreased by about 10% after the first dose. With booster shots, the protection became even stronger around 20% lower risk for Pfizer-BioNTech recipients and 27% lower for AstraZeneca recipients. Researchers, led by Samantha Ip, also tracked rare side effects like myocarditis, but these cases were extremely uncommon. In contrast, catching COVID-19 itself is known to significantly raise the risk of serious heart problems and blood clots. The conclusion from the study published in Nature Communications is clear: vaccination doesn’t just fight the virus, it may also help protect your heart.
