@kepano Would be cool to be able to install it as a pwa, in order to be able to share a website to defuddle and get the markdown version of the page.

LLMs prefer the CLI to the MCP Traditionally CLIs hit APIs, but APIs don't have all the latest features that you would put in your UI or MCP UIs and MCPs can be constantly changed, because there is a resilient, intelligent agent interfacing with them to deal with the changes (vs deterministic code that would barf on an API change) So we need to "generate a CLI" from MCP specifications This is basically how Cloudflare's "code mode" worked, but where they generated TypeScript functions, generating a CLI is even more composable with the unix tools the LLM knows well @KentonVarda @andrewqu - am I thinking about this right?

@mjackson Working on similar ideas at smallweb.run. Also support email messages and ssh commands. I feel like the cloudflare fetch interface is a better alternative than cgi-bin: export default { fetch: (req: Request) => Response | Promise<Response> }

What if we brought back the simplicity of PHP—but for Node.js, Bun, or Deno? •No long-running servers •Just-in-time script execution per request •Streams stdout to NGINX Basically: FastCGI 2.0 for modern devs. Would you use this?

i lately built two fully functional tools using @boltdotnew and @cursor_ai that have been sitting on my ideas page for a long time in obsidian! and that made me realize that releasing and shipping the thing is the hard part and not building them 😂

Is anyone building personal apps in the age of AI? Apps that solve a problem just for you, hosted locally or on a server only accessible to you?

@MagicznySzymek @nbbaier @jarredsumner For user maybe, for library authors it's a chore. I would prefer if deno sticked to the web standard Request and Response objects, and implement these helpers as a std library. Deno gets it right: @std/http/doc/cookie" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">jsr.io/@std/http/doc/…

@jarredsumner Does BunRequest extend the web standard Request Object? What's the difference?

@_mql That's a nice thought! On a similar note, I love platforms which are as scaling down as they are at scaling up (ex: a deno deploy apps can be a `main.ts` single-file, or a huge project with complex build steps).

Everyone is upselling these days. Has anyone ever done downselling? Like a popup that tells you, you haven't used any of the "pro" features in the last 2 month. "Downgrade to free plan?"

Today I discovered that you can start a new @ValDotTown Townie chat by doing to townie.new is a thing thanks to @charmaine_klee. Then I discovered that I could pass a prompt to it via a query param🤯 So I made a @raycastapp quicklink for it!
