Cosimo Matassa did mention that he had a 3-input mixer on his Presto 28N lathe so he probably used that rig as an input to the Ampex 300 mono recorder. Duh! I should have known that. He did eventually get a portable 4-input mixer which was most likely a RCA Op-7. #MusicHistory

I am researching what 3-input mixer Cosimo Matassa was using with his Ampex 300. He talks about it in one of his interviews. It was the early fifties and the only one that I could find is the RCA OP-4. #MusicHistory #NOLA
