@TweetsbyCoachP Basketball is not a “safe” sport. It requires an elevated mentality to endure physically challenging scenarios. Combined that with the perceived success in the sport is points, athletes default to the safer sports to see their perceived success.

Why do you believe we are seeing such a steep decline in girls high school basketball participation? Non-refutable data from the NFHS says that participation has dropped 21% over the last 25 years. But why? What is your take on the why when the highest levels of the sport have never been more popular.

Up 21-3 and you lose. I think Matt LaFleur is a really good coach, but at a certain point all of the self-owning this team does is a reflection fo the HC.

@RGIII @OuttaPocketRG3 Coaches jump every year. Kelly did it to Notre Dame. Lane is the bad guy? Lane is an easy target. Tigers don’t change their stripes. Let’s not act like this system doesn’t allow and prepare for it. There’s no allegiance in this. There’s power, money and status.

Dear Football Fans, this is a safe space. Was Lane Kiffin right to take the LSU Head Coaching Job over staying at Ole Miss?

My own kid works out diligently. Tore his ACL two weeks ago. The only thing that saved his knee from complete dislocation was his hamstring strength. He doesn’t play year round. He’s a three sport varsity athlete. Routine jump stop he’s made since he was 12. It makes no sense.

Where do you stand on Carrington Valentine? He’s allowed just 5 completions for 41 yards on 19 targets in man coverage on the entire season. (Fewest yards per target allowed amongst cornerbacks) But he’s shown to be a liability with simple tackling? Can he become elite?

@Peter_Bukowski You really have no clue what you are talking about. Clock was controlled all game. Kept 3rd downs short and manageable. Used play action and pre snap movement to move second and third level and leverage chips on Hutch. Trusted defense and went for it on two key fourth downs.

This game makes some of the other highly conservative playcalling from LaFleur that much more frustrating.

@AndyHermanNFL Yes!!! Keep it simple show nothing in film. Next 6 game stretch getting Reed back eventually. Defense playing well without Quay in the middle.

I’m going to get murdered for this I’m sure… Jordan’s banged up, Wilson is running well, and the game was over when GB got to 17 points the way McCarthy is playing. I totally understand the run first, bland, and no gas approach in this one. Save up for Thursday.

The run game is working. How about some play-action?? Just WAY too conservative. You can end the game with a TD. LaFleur playing not to lose again.

@Peter_Bukowski 2 safety high ramrod. Can’t get a ball to the second level in 2.5 seconds. 2.5 seconds is a 3 step drop. That’s shorts, flats. Defenses are willing to give up 3-7 yard passes. Run game necessary to loosen up the D.

Oh the protection isn't holding up? On throws in under 2.5 seconds, Jordan Love is 2nd in EPA/dropback! He's completing 85% of his passes. THROW THE BALL.

aaron rodgers doesn’t have a career resurgence or win back-to-back mvps without matt lafleur; it was the perfect marriage between rodgers’ intellect and lafleur’s system. i think too many of you have no idea what the fuck you’re talking about and just want someone to be mad at
Dennis@GoPackGo541

Matt LaFleur’s winning record looks great on paper but it was built on the back of Aaron Rodgers. Those early seasons hid a lot of flaws in coaching and game management. Without Rodgers we’re seeing the real LaFleur and it’s not pretty.

@AaronNagler I rewatched the game. 2 safety high. Need to run to a fault. Thew miss, flats. Miscues are what killed drive. Illegal formations, offsides, holding. That’s not scheme that’s execution.

I think it's fair to admit this... Matt Lafleur is one of the best at play design/scheming guys open. But as an actual play caller/game manager, he struggles tremendously far too often.

@Wisconsin_fam If you look at the scheme it was smart. Had positive yards with a fumble, bad timing and numbers and positive yards that put them in the red zone. Watson is one of best blocking receivers in the NFL. Run that screen and slip him to the end zone is eventual set up.

Matt LaFleur chooses to scheme the ball into Savion Williams hands, but he doesn’t do it for Matthew Golden or Christian Watson. That's just stupid.

This fanbase needs to chill out!!!!! We lost. Got out coached. Didn’t execute in the rezone. Didn’t stop the run. Guess what. Didn’t all happen at once. Had chances. It’s the NFL. Winning is hard. You all want instant gratification and something to blame when it’s not there. The season is 18 weeks!!!!!!

@BruceIronsNFL The ball will spread out. We all have favorites. Defenses will have to make a choice and we will have the luxury of it being the wrong choice. Provided the O Line stays healthy

Yes, the #Packers absolutely need to get Matthew Golden more passes. And Wick needs more - he's criminally underused. And Watson is back and needs looks. But don't take them from Kraft, he's dominating. And get Doubs more looks. And Reed is coming back. And don't forget RBs
