@MichaelRosenYes Boomers were after the war so born between 1946 and 1964 Generation X seen as a post–World War II generation with no clear identity born between 1965 and 1980 Millennials born between 1981 and 1996 - we saw life before the internet & the birth of the internet.

I am sooooooo muddled over who's a 'boomer', who's a 'millennial', who's a 'generation X' or is it 'x'? And there are others, aren't there? People on TV just say the phrase and I spend the rest of the interview trying to figure out who they're talking about!

Erschreckend ist schon Mal die Anzahl derer, die meinen, er könne als CEO nicht gekündigt werden. Jeder kann als Chef seiner eigenen Firma gekündigt werden, auch wenn er sie gegründet hat. Es gibt zum Glück keine absolute Macht. Dann aber geht es letzten Endes darum, dass ein Unternehmenschef nicht sachlich mit der Personalchefin zusammenarbeitet, sondern Hormone zwischen den beiden rauf- und runterschwappen. Dafür werden sie nicht bezahlt. Und das kann innerhalb des Unternehmens für Ungleichgewicht sorgen. Sollten Mitarbeiter ahnen, dass die beiden sich zu nahe stehen, kann das zu Angst vor ihr führen. Mitarbeiter könnten versuchen, ihr nahe zu kommen, um so besseren Zugang zu ihm zu haben. Sie könnte ihre verstärkte Machtposition ausnutzen, um sich leichter durchzusetzen. Er hat sie anscheinend vor kurzem befördert, Mitarbeiter könnten sich fragen, ob man mit dem Chef ins Bett gehen sollte, um befördert zu werden. All diese Überlegungen haben genau nichts mit den Unternehmenszielen zu tun. Ganz speziell ist das Machtgefälle zwischen den beiden. Er ist ihr Vorgesetzter. Könnte sie überhaupt nein sagen, ohne um ihre Karriere zu fürchten? Ich habe schon länger Herren mit Macht im Verdacht, mit Untergebenen Sex zu haben, vermeintliche Affären aufzubauen - nicht aus Lust oder Zuneigung, sondern um vielversprechende Frauen unter Kontrolle zu behalten. Es geht letzen Endes auch um Chancengleichheit. Deshalb sollten Unternehmen Regeln haben, dass wenn die vermeintliche Liebe zuschlägt, der Vorgesetzte sich einen anderen Job sucht. Dann können die beiden in ihrer Privatzeit grenzenlos turteln. Würde diese Regel eingeführt, würde die vermeintliche Liebe deutlich seltener wie ein Blitz einschlagen. Darauf wette ich.

@KatrinKemmler1 Mobility equipment is only considered annoying when it is necessary. I can walk without shoes, I can walk and not use a car and shoes and cars are acceptable. Someone who NEEDS a wheelchair is a nuisance, asking too much. Not needing gives power.
