#ASplendidMatch Ep 25 What struck me most about this upcoming union btwn the leads is that it is NOT transactional. The contrast with her annoying cousin Lian's on-again, off-again engagement says it all. The groom is a player- maybe karma for Lian given how spoiled she is. And his mother changed her tune so easily too. It's pretty fortunate that the typical benefits brides and grooms chased after back then? Our leads couldn't care less. ( Just glad I don't live in an era where who I marry becomes the defining decision of how others view me or my family. ) Now onto the previews, where we see the inevitable reactions from CYY's nephew and Ye Xian. It's bound to happen, but I hope the drama doesn't spend too much time on the angst that will follow for these men. Just look at Ye Xian's reaction....always so violent. I genuinely don't get why anyone would have SLS. I like the actor, but Ye Xian himself? Too volatile. I'd never trust someone I care about with him. Anyway, I just want more married life moments between the leads.
