@chpindio It was well known that it was a hazmat fire at 2:24pm. Interstate 10 should’ve been closed no later than 2:30 PM at indio. No, you’ve got a lot of trucks on eastbound stuck in the lanes unable to park for the night and get any rest. CHP Indio you guys are fucking garbage.

@CALFIRERRU CHP did a piss poor job of handling this situation. I am one of many drivers stuck on the I 10 right now because we made it to Desert Center before Caltrans shut down the I 10 near Indio. We were all sitting on the side of the road and CHP moved the cones. Now we’re stuck in lane
