A LOT OF PEOPLE DON'T DEVELOP REAL COMPASSION UNTIL LIFE HIT THEM DEAD IN THEY CHEST. It's easy to judge from the sidelines, crack jokes about situations you never lived through, and talk reckless when you ain't the one struggling. Folks laugh at abuse, financial hardship, betrayal, or somebody losing everything, like pain is entertainment. But life don't discriminate it circle back and humble everybody eventually. That's why empathy matter, because the same storm you mocking today could be the one teaching you tomorrow, and the grace you refused to give might be the grace you end up needing.

The most underrated act of kindness is simply letting people be. Let them mispronounce a word, talk too much about a show they love, or get excited about something you don't quite understand. Everyone has something that lights them up, let them shine, even if it's not your thing.
