I'm campaigning for my first choice, campaign for yours, and don't disturb us in the CS. I didn't tag any of you. Focus on your candidate. 😂

In my opinion, the perfect manager for Chelsea is Cesc Fabregas. Former player, knows the club, understands the Premier League, has players that suit his football, mixes possession and direct football equally.
BUT, it took him 3 years to get Como firing effectively. Don't expect him to come here and implement everything in 3 months. Or he will become another Sarri because we have a very unrealistic fanbase.
More importantly, convincing him won't be easy. He will demand power to make sporting decisions and assurance of stability. If we sack Liam Rosenior in six months, we won't convince Fabregas.
Lastly, if we want him, we should start early to make the plans, let him know he's the one and only target, and you can wait even after one season.
Make no mistake, our stock is down in the eyes of good managers. No manager wants to work in an unstable environment, only managers who are begging for jobs will accept us.
So, if we want Fabregas, get to work, wait it out and convince him. I don't think he will leave Como this summer. We need to plan and be deliberate about him. And make decisions at the club that will entice and suit him. Just like how Man City landed Pep Guardiola from Bayern. It took them almost 2 years to get it done.
I'm not confident our decision makers think like that though.

🚨 Mikel: “Hoping Man City beat us so Arsenal don't win the league is small side mentality. That, right now, comes down to the owners. This is where these owners have put this club” (@obionepodcast)

✍️ People can't be making excuses for Enzo Fernandez by saying the club is not doing well, so he can talk as he likes.
Nah man, that's setting a bad example. He's the vice-captain. If he wants to leave, he doesn't need the squad or the world to know.
Whichever way you spin it, it's disrespectful to the squad, the club, and the fans.
Even if the club isn't doing well, players have to carry themselves with dignity and respect the club until they leave. Imagine if 70% of the squad did the same because the club isn't doing well, what would you say? Or do you think if 70% of the squad leaves, we can rebuild this squad again in 2 years even if we spend all the money in the world?
Enzo can leave if he wants but he needs to do better for the sake of his teammates, fans and the club.
