First of all, I truly hope you find the help that you need. Secondly, this PGCE for French students looks like an opportunity but it’s truly not if one cannot afford these expenses. Even if you get your POF done, one good question to ask, is that money really mine? How will I survive when I get there? I’ve had to withdraw my offer last week after considering all of these and counting the entire cost. It’s quite an opportunity for physics students. The bursary or scholarship covers their tuition fee and even leaves them enough to cater to their living expenses. This is also the reason they are asked to provide about £1200 POF as against the £10,000 or £15000 as the cost may vary for French students. Also, the training is quite tasking and leaves little to no time to do extra jobs. So, imagine physics students on the same path but with a higher bursary fee. The hustle is gonna be crazy for French students ‘cause you’re literally going to be hustling to survive instead of focusing on the program. If the UK really need French students on their program, they should review the bursary and make it an equal opportunity for the two categories. Not all candidates are financially capable of affording the program despite the bursary. Shalom!

If you can't afford your school fee deposit. Don't bother her going. Living there will not be easy, because U can't work more 20hrs. I know people who have been in the UK since 2019 still struggling not because life is not easy but not for an immigrant. Don't come and join the suffering. Plan ahead, give yourself 5 years and make it work or instead go to schools in eastern Europe cheap schools, cheap standard of living. My 2 cent
