Man oh man - this is so powerful. So indescribably powerful, Sister Shelly @poseofpower I will repost your post, but had to quote it also. TY Jesus for slowing me down just a bit today for this. Jesus, help me & forgive me that in my busYness reordered by me as ‘business’ - that I might miss what You have for me. There’s another Pastor/Preacher named Francis Chan who’s recent mission-born out of real life, recent confession that He’s been preaching for yrs without realizing how much Jesus loves him & all He has called to him. His SM handle on platforms is ‘Crazy Love’ This 20 min YT Bible teaching by @JohnPiper seems Biblical truth & foundation for this. Jesus knows & loves me far more than I will ever comprehend. I am so limited in my minute by minute life experience into my 60’s now-that by reflex, I take the smallness of my comprehension into my fellowship with Jesus & all my affairs. He knows this too. By the SUPERnatural power of the Holy Spirit, may I know, grow & grasp even a bit of how much Jesus loves me, knows me & wants to be known by me unto Glory. HE is the prize and upward calling. I miss it & cannot comprehend it through all the noise: whether it be happy or trouble. Yes, the noise can be in the circumstance of what I view is & from the mountain top of common grace or again what I view as mercy sought in what appears to be a valley to me at some particular time. Only Jesus knows me. Only Jesus is the ‘affection for things above’ - He IS my eternal reward, yet I can & do miss this completely. He knows in my limitedness I subconsciously compare past life experiences: the common grace desires given & future desires-that are wholly detached from the experience & circumstances of the body of believers around the world He connects me to …to HEAVEN! It’s rather insane. Help me Jesus to know that You know me, love me, and have called me to be with You eternal - and what is eternal life is YOU & it is soon, whether today or 30 yrs it is soon. *Sister Shelly, God bless you.
