A friend yesterday asked me who the Democratic nominee should be. He’s worried about Biden’s age. I said it doesn’t matter to me who the Democratic nominee is. It really doesn’t. Donald Trump is an existential threat to our democracy. He must be defeated. So I’ll support WHOEVER the Dems nominate. And we ALL should pledge to do that. Because it’s ONLY about defeating Trump. So quit worrying about who the nominee is going to be, I told him. He didn’t love my answer.
