It is past time to stop shelter Judge  Joe Brown beneath the mantle of elder hood, he has strayed from the code for too long. I once tempered my critique when he came on air and voiced dubious claims, but no more. Our brother Carmelo Anthony deserves the full presumption of innocence, especially from a former judge, unless that judge still sees himself in league with the ruling class of oppressors. One has to wonder how many young Black men he sentenced for being “punks.” Perhaps it is time we pull the court records and let the docket testify.
