@robertgraham Man, could we build a robust contextual framework for generative TDD? Because, that would be actually fucking awesome.

I've spent the last couple weeks writing a large (20 kloc) personal project and am vibe coding roughly 75% of it. Vibe coding is a skill, and I'm getting better at it, getting the AI to write the unit tests that show it has bugs, then telling it to fix its bugs.

I don’t know how to tell you this, Matt; but: No one’s mortgage is worth incinerating the constitutional rights of American citizens for.
Matt Glantz@MattGlantz

I am heartbroken... As Americans we need to open our eyes and take a hard look at what is happening and where we are headed. Minneapolis is a national disgrace right now. It doesn’t matter which side of the political aisle you’re on. If you are cheering for this chaos because it scores points for your team, you are unwittingly part of the problem. We are watching a wholesale liquidation of American identity and American Exceptionalism in real time. We have retreated into two delusional realities. In one, the federal agents in Minneapolis are "occupiers" and "Nazis." In the other, the citizens standing in the snow are "terrorists" and "insurgents." This is absolute insanity. It is a zero-sum game that ends with everyone below zero. That ICE agent in the riot gear isn't a foreign invader. He’s a guy with a mortgage and a family who thinks he's holding the line against anarchy. That protester choking on tear gas isn't an enemy combatant. She is an American citizen exercising a right that was paid for in blood. Renee Good is dead. That is a tragedy. But using her death to turn American streets into a war zone is suicidal for all of us. When you look at your neighbors and see the enemy, the country is already dead. We all need to take a step back and refresh the mindset. As Americans we are supposed to be a family. We must start acting like it.

@MattGlantz He’s a man with a mortgage and family who signed up to wage war on American citizens in the name of purging minorities from our streets. Stop being an apologist for them please.

@Jennicide @AllInOops @dent1zt I talked to him around then, maybe even that night. I told him that he was hyper-fixating on a chemical solution to his problems and that he needed to find a different path. It was the last time I talked to him. If it is any solace, I answered and it didn’t help.

@robertgraham @elonmusk @grok When has fact-checking these assholes accomplished anything? Attempting to preserve information integrity in the modern era is, at best, inefficient and at worst, useless. At least in the politisphere. I don't blame you for trying or caring, the ROI just seems to be nonexistent.

Here is how voter fraud is done
John LeFevre@JohnLeFevre

In a group chat with a bunch of smart, successful liberals who still don't understand how elections get stolen. So I wanted to share. In simple terms, this is what happens: 1) Fill up the voter rolls with as many names as possible, including illegals, dead people, and residents who left the state. 2) Legislate for unsolicited ballots to be automatically mailed out. 3) Pay people (per ballot) to collect, fill out, sign, and send back or dump these ballots into drop boxes. Here's how this works: Take a random, low-income apartment building in PA or GA with 100 units. This is a demographic that doesn't vote, and rarely checks their mail. Unsolicited ballots will be automatically sent to every single tenant or resident registered to that building, going back a decade or longer. So a 100 unit apartment building could receive 5x as many ballots, most of which litter the mail room floor. Activist groups like Arabella recruit low-income residents to collect these ballots, and pay them for every completed ballot, without oversight or accountability. So these recruits can either laboriously track down the intended recipients and encourage them to vote legally, OR they can collect as many blank ballots as possible, and fill them all out themselves, knowing they'll make $1,000s, and it's virtually impossible to get caught. These ballots end up in the mail or in a dropbox, where they will be counted alongside legitimate ballots, having never been verified or signature-matched. It doesn't take a grand conspiracy, as the participant pawns are incentivized monetarily to cheat on their own accord. And there's no legal recourse, as the big money organizers have plausible deniability because they don't need to instruct or bear witness to any of the cheating.

I don't know if this is a war crime. What I mean is that Trump has already decided that these are "combatants" attacking the United States with drugs -- rather than local village fisherman that drug cartels have hired to drive a boat. In Ukraine, you have videos of Russian soldiers injured by a drone attack throw away their guns and attempt to surrender to the drone. The next drone drops grenades on them anyway, killing them. Surrendering to a drone isn't a thing. It's not like the drone can walk the Russian soldiers back to Ukraine lines, capturing them. They are still behind enemy lines, their guns are still within reach, and if you don't kill them right then, the Russians will just come back trying to kill Ukrainians. So I'm not sure that combatants trying to surrender to a drone is a thing. Instead, the difference is that drug smugglers are criminals, not war fighters. A villager hired to drive a boat who somehow survives a drone strike is unlikely to try smuggling drugs again. It's just straight up murder.
Brian Krassenstein@krassenstein

BREAKING: Yes, this was a WAR CRIME. Admiral Bradley just told lawmakers that the survivors on that boat were waving at something in the air, likely signaling for help or attempting to surrender. Moments later, a second missile struck, killing them. And here’s what Fox won’t tell you: the boat was heading EAST, away from the United States, toward Suriname. Hegseth must be impeached immediately.

@DPCyric @wildstwawberry They do this on purpose. BnR accelerates the engagement cycle. They purposely design overpowered cards with the intent of banning them. They’ll deny it; but, actions speak louder than words.

The strongest argument, which likely carries more weight than "It's pocket change vis-a-vis revenue" is that IT'S LITERALLY A ONE TIME INCURRED COST. Once the cards are there, they are there. #MagicTheGathering

Your argument that "Implementing over 20,000 cards is daunting and expensive" is bullshit when about 15,000+ of those cards are either vanilla, or no more complicated to implement than any card in Unlimited or Revised.

@wizards_magic Explain to me like I'm five how you can generate a billion dollars in revenue, on a series of products with comparatively no overhead and yet still can't find $10-20m or whatever to get Arena legacy complete. It's beyond stupid.
