@Fiat_Lux111 I had bi nasal prism glasses. Seeing a rehabilitation optometrist is key with a reputable vision therapy program. I also have a tinted colour on my glasses that helps with light sensitivity. Sending you healing vibes!

10 yrs ago, I was diagnosed with post-trauma vision syndrome from a brain injury. 11 neurologists told me I wouldn't heal further. Today, my eye dr said my eyes are now tracking normally. I still have other symptoms to tackle, but never let anyone tell you what's possible!

What if…my husband had said no to spending $40 for a PSA test for prostate cancer, while getting other blood work done?
What if…we couldn’t afford it, and didn’t want to choose between today’s groceries and a health test?
We wouldn’t have caught the cancer that was aggressive and advanced by the time we found it. He was asymptomatic.
Prostate cancer is one of the most treatable cancers - if detected early. If your doctor has suggested you get a PSA test, cost shouldn’t be a barrier. This is especially true in minority communities - black men are at higher risk of prostate cancer.
Thank you to MPP Wayne Gates who has been working across political party lines on eliminating the cost barrier for PSA testing.
Pete and I were honoured to join MPP Gates at a press conference today at Queen’s Park to renew the call that OHIP cover PSA testing. Only Ontario and British Columbia fail to cover this test.
Free testing is a matter of health and health care equity.
The provincial government can eliminate fees for cars; they can do it for people.
Eliminating the barrier of cost is the right thing to do and the time is now with September being Prostate Dr Cancer Awareness Month. Contact your MPP and ask them to support this initiative.
