Sabitlenmiş Tweet

It's a sad day for me,
Dear @elonmusk
This is indeed a sad day.
I signed up for Twitter in February 2009. Quickly grew to 40k+ followers talking #NASCAR. I was one of the original users of TweetDeck, which became X Pro.
The world changed, and so did NASCAR. My focus shifted to politics, and my followers dropped by about 25% almost overnight.
I was one of your biggest cheerleaders when you bought Twitter. I proudly posted #Elonscomin and supported the move to save free speech in America.
For 17 years I've furnished content here. For the last several years I paid $8/month—mainly to keep using X Pro, a tool no serious user should have to do without.
Now, on my retired budget, I can't afford the jump to $40/month for Premium+ just to keep X Pro.
Access to X-Pro was taken away immediately and without notice, even though my subscription runs until April 14.
I had hoped to enjoy this platform deep into retirement. I didn't realize cheering your arrival would help enable the end of my own account.
What must be, must be. I'll happily disengage.
The bigger point: I was right to hail your purchase of Twitter at the time. You did the right thing for free speech.
I just didn't expect the platform we all clung to would become a $40+ per month indulgence mainly for the wealthy.
I'm not a billionaire, so I'll step aside.
Continued success in all your endeavors, Elon. I'm still a supporter, though the shine has worn off just a bit.
Thank you for reading.
