Power 96 will be live at Hayek Field tonight for the VFW Baseball season opener against Owatonna. First pitch is scheduled for tonight at 6 p.m.

FINAL: Tiger baseball falls to Mankato East 10-4 in the first game of the 2AAA sections tournament. The Tigers will play Saturday at 2pm at Johnson Park in New Ulm. The Tigers will play Marshall or Jordan their game today has been PPD.

FINAL: Tiger baseball falls to Owatonna 10-4 to finish the regular season 9-8. The Tigers now await their opponent in sections play which starts on May 31st.

Power 96 will be live at Glenville-Emmons High School tomorrow at 10AM as we bring you softball action as the Tigers take on the Wolverines of Glenville-Emmons.

FINAL: Tiger Baseball defeats Austin 7-6 on a walk off bases loaded hit by pitch. The Tigers trailed by two runs several times in the game but rallied. The Tigers improve to 8-7 on the season. Next up for Tiger Baseball is a visit from Worthington on Monday at 5:30 p.m.

FINAL: Tiger Baseball defeats Red Wing 10-2 to improve to 7-7 on the season. The Tigers led 3-1 at the end of the first inning and scored five runs in the top of the sixth to put the game out of reach. Next up for the Tigers is a game against Worthington on Saturday.

FINAL: Tiger Baseball beats Kato East 13-7. The Tigers led 8-0 after the second inning. Mankato East cut the lead in half in the fourth inning but the Tigers scored 3 in the 5th and 2 in the 6th to put the game away. The Tigers will next be in action Thursday in Red Wing at 5p.m.

FINAL: Tiger Baseball falls to Austin 10-0 in 5 innings. The Tigers allowed three runs in three of the five innings. The Tigers will next be in action Saturday against Winona. First pitch is scheduled for noon.

FINAL: Albert Lea Tiger Baseball picks up its first win of the season defeating Century 6-4. The Tigers scored four runs in the top of the 6th inning to put the game away. Next up for the Tigers is a trip to Austin on Thursday.

FINAL: Tiger Baseball falls to John Marshall 3-0. The Tigers were no hit through 6 innings. Quick turn around for the Tigers as they will be in Rochester tomorrow taking on Century at 5 p.m.

UPDATE: All Albert Lea Athletic events for tonight have been postponed due to the weather. The new dates for the events are yet to be announced.

UPDATE: The Albert Lea Baseball game scheduled for tonight against John Marshall has been rescheduled for Monday due to the weather. First Pitch is scheduled for 5p.m.

Albert Lea Baseball falls to Winona 7-2. After a scoreless first four innings for both teams, the Winhawks scored four runs in the fifth inning to help them take home the win. The Tigers will next be action Monday when they host Redwing at Hayek Field.

BREAKING: Albert Lea Football will move down to 2AAA, Basketball will move down to 1AA, Wrestling will be moving up to 1AAA, and soccer will move down to 2A for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 seasons.

BREAKING: The Albert Lea Boys Basketball team has been awarded the 5 seed in the Boys Basketball sections tournament. The Tigers will hit the road to take on the 4 seed Byron Bears Tuesday at 7pm
