@drewharvie Started working there about 20 years ago and was my first assistant superintendents job. Good little 9 hole course with some charm. Best thing was teeing off at 8pm mid summer and getting in 18 no problem.

Tom Bendelow’s Thunder Bay Country Club, with the Nor’Wester Mountain Range in the back in the first photo. For those who have played, is it any good?

We have frost this morning. Too soon to determine how long. Stay tuned for updates.

Dodged the frost bullet this morning @kingvalleygc Only a 35 minute delay means I will be home in time to get the turkey in the oven.

@drewharvie Always made a point to stop and play Huron Pines in Blind River when I was heading to or home from Thunder Bay.

As your ⏰ sounds and ☕️ brews, golf course maintenance teams are already working hard to produce the playing conditions you enjoy. One easy way to show appreciation is by continuing to fix ball marks on the greens.

I don’t care what you shot, I care how many ball marks you fixed. #TrueStory #Golf ⛳️

When green speeds get too fast for the course or the people playing it, golf becomes slower and less fun. The pursuit of speed has also meant lost hole locations, damaged turf, and alterations to classic greens. Faster does not mean better. …agolfjournal.mydigitalpublication.com/publication/?i…

While there has been plenty to miss during the coronavirus pandemic, here are nine golf course practices that @JohnPDaniels hopes don’t come back for everyday play: usga.org/content/usga/h…
