To be clear, nobody on this panel has seen any evidence or has any insight into what took place, who was involved, and who should ultimately be held accountable. They're guilty of doing what so many others in the media are doing - which is basing their entire assessment on irresponsible/inaccurate reporting, rumors, and speculation. Without any facts or evidence currently available to them, these folks want to serve as judge, jury, and executioner before the NCAA investigation is even complete. In doing so, they're also calling for this current group of players to be prevented from competing for a conference championship and a national championship. In the event that the NCAA investigation reveals that the Michigan coaching staff was involved in an illegal scouting scheme, I would agree that some form of punishment should follow. Until that happens, calling for any sort of punishment without a completed investigation is yet another example of irresponsible conduct by members of the national media. Match is framed as a joyous occasion but it’s probably one of the reasons residents lack mobility, control and competitive pay. A better system would be a job market year round, getting multiple offer then negotiating pay & it being private—you know like every other profession
