I’ve seen a few media companies and dtc brands raising funding right now. I’m not an active angel…but I can’t imagine doing a non-ai company seed investment at the moment. God bless those companies. What’s the market like for non-ai startups?

The official details of the 49ers deal with Mike Evans is a 3-year contract that’s worth $42.4M with $16.3M guaranteed. There are incentives where he could earn way more. Per: @MySportsUpdate

@DevinLaSarre Spending time with our partners in Denmark for 10 years… they always had a pouch in. Sun up, sun down, well into the night.

Long runway for pouches. In August: "I believe the single most critical consideration for the potential of online penetration is consumption frequency on the individual user level."

I thought this was the most interesting statement in the $BTI call today. It suggests that not only could we see signficanly more growth in terms of number of users but the consumption per user should continue to rise. I know I use like 12 a day. $TPB $PM $MO

Totally agree. Usage/consumption can and will expand. But it is ultimately capped. Consumer expansion is more challenging but is the force multiplier. How ubiquitous will pouches become in the next decade? We ask non users “are you familiar with nicotine pouches?” The numbers of pouch aware non users is growing exponentially… but when will that correlate to future pouch usage?

@MollySOShea Agreed… tougher to find than it should be. Lodge at Presidio is A+ though. Cavallo point doesn’t count but pretty incredible as well.

It’s also just a better way to drive around. I moved from SF Bay Area to Indiana (don’t live in Carmel). It’s a far better system. Way less traffic stress. To the comment on indigenous land.. that’s objectively terrible. But not unique to one city/town. That’s the history of the mid west and broadly the entire United States.

Carmel, IN replaced 120 stop lights with roundabouts and this happened: 🚨 90% drop in fatal crashes 🚨 40% drop in total crashes 🚨 $21.6 million saved in long-term maintenance And that $21.6m isn't even counting the enormous financial savings of preventing crashes. 🤯

CRO is very powerful. Small tweaks can drive double digit increase in CVR in 24 hours. CRO tactics though should never trick the customer into buying or paying more (like default selected shipping insurance). You can have overwhelming positive reviews but when a ecomm business has zero 1 or 2 star reviews, something is up. Customers are smarter than you think. There are no short cuts in building good reputation. built in years. lost in seconds.
