There's something so pure about watching a non-artist/beginner artist friend try to draw.. In this world full of AI, profit-seeking mindsets and such, I think it's lovely people still pick up drawing and continue to draw. I want to push all beginner artists to continue.
Commission prices are out of control. Simple as. 300 bucks for a ref sheet or basic drawing?? Hell no. That's 10 HOURS of my life I would have had to spend to be able to afford that. Actually, it's definitely more than that because the government taxes wages.
【Emergency Vet Surgery Fund】This isn’t the kind of post I usually make, but my cat needs surgery and I could use some support right now. My cat has been struggling with glaucoma for the past 2 years. I’ve been doing my best to manage his condition with regular treatment, but as it’s unfortunately not curable, my vet has advised that eye removal surgery is now the best option for him. The surgery will cost around 4000USD and due to some recent circumstances (my mom was just discharged from the hospital, and I’m currently in between cms work), covering this all at once has been quite difficult.
