Top tip for jobseekers - fr, please listen
Do not ever ever ever;
- Use an AI tool to auto apply for jobs based on loose buzzwords
- Or, manually apply to tons of irrelevant jobs
As a recruiter, when I click on your profile, I can see every job of ours that you have applied for
If I see that you have applied to 10+ jobs that are all completely different skillsets then there is a 99% chance that I'm skipping to the next profile
It is probably the biggest red flag I look out for when reviewing job applications
And I know this is the same for most other recruiters too

We are in the age of mean & lean
Every single online job will look completely different in 2 years time
If you work for a bloated organization that isn’t nimble enough to adapt to a new AI-driven world without making lay-offs, then you should pivot to a leaner team now while you still can
Don’t wait until Meta, Microsoft, Google and every other giant has laid off 40% of their workforce because by that point it will be too late
The job market will be so candidate heavy that your chances of success will be lottery-level
This is my best and most genuine advice to any employed person right now
@ppl3_co will remain lean, forever
Every hire we make will have months of thought behind them
We will always be in a position to pivot on a dime if necessary

Couldn't be happier with how year 1 has gone;
- 2 office upgrades
- 1 very good hire (@HarryTyl3r)
- 45 candidates placed into crypto startups
- 1 website upgrade
Year 2 will bring;
- 2x revenue (that's the goal anyway lol)
- The launch of degen.directory
- Living the kind of life that can only come from working in a decentralized, people-first industry (thank you, crypto)
