*gtrans only* For people who just started following, you might not know what the older one went through before, so I want to share a bit. 🥹 First, I’ll say that I’m a fan of the younger one, but I’m not strict about “benefits” (fan photos). Whether it’s the younger or the older one, I’ll take photos with both. Back then there were only about 10 fans. Nine of them were fans of the younger one. At events, everyone queued up to take photos with the younger one. I just joined in and was happy to take photos with anyone. So my very first benefit photos were only with the older one, because at that time there were far fewer fans of the older one. At every event I’d take photos and post them all—pair photos, solo photos of the older one, and solo photos of the younger one. Whenever the boys had events, I also helped trend hashtags for all of them. But what happened was that many solo stans of the younger one messaged me to insult me. Even if I blocked them, they’d create new accounts to message me again. They told me to delete the pair photos and told me to stop trending things for events involving the older one. (Most of the time I didn’t reply because I usually don’t engage with people who just want to stir drama. The screenshot where I replied was only because I happened to have free time.) One solo-stan who acted like a big account once reposted a message from the younger one’s mom thanking people around him—but they deliberately deleted the part where she thanked the older one. That person had a lot of problematic behavior, but now they’ve disappeared. Maybe they finally gave up. Something that made me cry before was seeing posts like: “If the younger one were paired with someone else, they’d probably go much farther.” “The younger one should be paired with Jmn or Fm instead, because they’re just as famous.” People criticized the older one a lot—saying he couldn’t speak English, saying he wasn’t suitable, and so on. When I saw those comments, I felt really down. I just kept thinking: how can people be this cruel? And the older one knew about all of it the whole time. He even said in an interview that he tried to change and improve himself in every way—taking better care of himself so he could be worthy of the younger one. When I read that, it hurt my heart so much. There were many other small things too, but these are the main things I remember. That’s why now, when people say that the two of them suit each other so well, I get especially emotional. Especially when people talk about how they’ve been holding hands and walking together for five years. Because getting to this point really wasn’t easy. Thank you for showing what it looks like to grow together. Thank you for walking side by side until so many people love you today. 🤍 I’m happy that I can still see you both, even if you’re now in a place that feels farther away. Love you. 🫶
