Pittsburgh Public Schools are closing 9 buildings - and it might be the right move. But then at the same meeting voting to give this Ron Clark character $30,000 to speak for one hour is absurd. Numerous teachers/parents are blown away by this. Me too.

Due to inclement weather, PPS will transition to a synchronous remote teaching and learning day on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. District administrative buildings will be closed; however, all eligible central administrative staff will work remotely.

Pittsburgh Public Schools will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to inclement weather. This will be the final snow day in the 2025–2026 school year calendar. Any additional weather-related closures will be designated as remote learning days.
