bayern will never willingly take their foot off the gas again, they’re too smart and ambitious for that. their dominance is just a result of the fact they are trying to compete with the upper echelons of the football world. they can’t keep up this level forever, but we desperately have to come up with a new excuse or start building towards competing in that tier of football too
