Back then, BL series was still a very new genre and considered a niche market. They faced a lot of scepticism and were often looked down on, with people doubting both the genre and their capabilities. KristSing, OffGun, and TayNew didn’t have the level of support from the general market that newer generations receive today. I’m grateful to them for overcoming those challenges and proving that Y series were profitable and had real potential, making it possible for GMMTV to continue investing in the genre. That’s why they’re often referred to as รุ่นบุกเบิก - “the pioneering generation” or เสาหลัก - “the pillars” who laid the foundation for the younger generation in the company.
