Quitting school because you want to trade is just dumb. It doesn’t show confidence, it shows a lack of commitment because here’s the truth, if you can’t stay consistent with something structured like school, what makes you think you’ll stay disciplined in trading? A space with unlimited ways to fail? Trading is not vibes. It’s patience, repetition, emotional control, and showing up even when nothing is working. And school? School isn’t just about the degree. It’s proof that you can commit long-term, handle pressure and delayed gratification, and follow through even when you’re not motivated and if you lack that, trading will expose you brutally. A lot of people don’t fail in trading because it’s hard. They fail because they’re not built to stay consistent so when you drop school to chase trading, you’re not “choosing your passion”, you’re revealing a pattern. Starting things and not finishing them. And that pattern? It will follow you into trading. Build discipline first, prove you can finish what you start and then step into trading with structure and intention.

i was up $300 on my $10k funded account with the intention to take it to $500 and request a withdrawal, suddenly losing streaks entered and i almost blow the account , na God save me 😅😅🥺. i managed to take it from 2% drawdown and made 1.5% profit. i didn’t think twice before requesting this withdrawal . Moral: always withdraw that profit. Thanks @goat_funded @EdwardXLreal

Same GFT trailing drawdown you’re complaining about. @QueenTea__ trades it and gets multiple payouts from It. @babypipsgrad8 trades it and is getting payouts from it. @Billionairecod trades it and got payouts, he was even paid with additional $500 for a delay few months ago on one of his payouts. @Covenanttrader1 traded same account type and gets multiple payouts. @RealTraderSeun trades same account type and he’s gotten many payouts and he’s even planning to buy an AMG with it. I have traded same account type, I’ve seen 8 payouts on that particular account and I have kept the account alive for over 7 months and counting. Why are you complaining about trailing drawdown rules? Tell me, I want to understand it from your own point of view.
