I’m sure there’s lots of nuances to it but I feel like there’s no way for the GRAMMY voters to go through and identify all the releases we think are more ‘deserving’ without some more legwork from the artists and their teams.
PR ground rules:
No spray & pray
No mass pitching
No generic angles
No relationship crutch
No coverage begging
Lead with value.
Everything else will follow.
PR isn't just about getting press. It's brand storytelling, crisis management, and reputation building. Most people only see the tip of the iceberg. There's so much more happening below the surface.

STOP overcomplicating PR.
Journalists want:
1. Unique angles or data
2. Timely, newsworthy stories
3. Relevance to their audience
4. Credible sources and quotes
5. Easy access to additional information
6. Visual elements (images, infographics)
Cover as many of those as possible in your pitch.
influencer budgets are getting smaller and smaller.
