This will probably be great for Large single GPUs (e.g. RTX PRO 6000)
You’re limited to 40Gpbs initially (during model loading) but then once the model is fully loaded on the GPU it should be extremely faster than Unified Memory speeds for inference

FP4 compute will likely get optimized for DGX Sparks soon, but for now I’d recommend using FP8 instead of NVFP4

What’s actually happening on DGX Spark today with NVFP4? Simply put, not optimized for compute: NVFP4 is used for storage, however compute isn’t done in FP4 but rather BF16 > NVFP4 weights are loaded > Marlin dequantizes FP4 → BF16 > compute runs as BF16 GEMM
