Polymarket is launching a taker tier rebate program. in simple terms: if you actively trade using market orders, meaning you take liquidity from the markets, you can now get part of your trading fees refunded. the higher your taker volume over the last 30 days, the higher your tier becomes. higher tier = bigger rebate %. so active traders now get not only profit from their predictions, but also additional cashback based on trading volume. for people constantly trading sports/crypto/prediction markets, this honestly looks like a very strong update.






As more people/whales are pointing out the mistakes of @Polymarket and their drawbacks coming to user support, I will share my personal experience with support team. I traded shares (Limit orders) since the fee introduction in a hope that they will pay the 25% maker rebate for sports markets but since April 1 , 28/30 days i received underpaid maker rebates, i raised this issue with @mustafap0ly through mail , my issue was not resolved and I didn't received my compensation for maker rebates.then i raised a ticket in discord 34 days ago and I got reply for 1-2 days then the support team took my complaint lightly (may be they ignored me) and the maker rebates issue was not resolved and they didn't paid remaining amount they owe us as they mentioned 25% as maker rebates in documents. As a user of polymarket, I was so frustrated because of their support and if I raise this issue in x , my account is neither big to catch the attention from team nor I'm a whale. I'm sharing the screen recording of my chat with polymarket support team.. it's been 34 days since I raised this underpaid maker rebates issue and I texted them for the last 30 days continuously with a lot of patience and hope that polymarket team will resolve this one day and they pay us what they owe us(underpaid maker rebates) @devjoshstevens @shayne_coplan A support team reply will morally boost users confidence and make us think that team is listening to our problems and one day they will resolve it. Polymarket should seriously consider it's drawbacks technically (ghost fills,underpaid rebates,bot spam) and non technically (support team).I hope team will read this tweet and pay everyone who got lesser maker rebates than actual as mentioned in docs.
