We have information that Moonshot AI distilled Anthropic’s Fable for the development of its K3 model. To do this they developed a sophisticated internal platform to conduct large scale distillation against U.S. models, allowing them to quickly switch between multiple methods of access to avoid detection. Moonshot AI has also acquired GB300-equipped servers and has accessed GB300s in Thailand, likely to train its AI models.   The United States strongly supports the free and fair development of AI, including a thriving competitive ecosystem that spans frontier models, specialized systems, open-source frameworks, and open-weight models. Legitimate AI distillation used to create smaller, more efficient models plays a vital role in this open innovation ecosystem. However, large-scale, covert industrial distillation aimed at stealing proprietary U.S. technology and undermining American research is unacceptable.

I have always been a fan of using and building integrated experiences that alleviate user experience. The first time I contributed to the Claude Code settings schema files on Schema Store, it was because I was facing a problem configuring a specific valid setting in the settings.json file as CC was validating against the outdated/inconsistent schema. I realised this was a great avenue to contribute to the UX of people configuring their Claude Code settings. I started making schema docs consistent in shape, adding verbatim descriptions and valid links to the schema, and writing an opt-in novel coverage tool for the larger repo to validate test case coverages for schemas hosted in the repo. I have now been doing this for close to 6 months now, and have perhaps touched more than 75% of the lines in that file. I hope that it actually positively contributes to the experiences of the users of the large community of Claude Code users. Recently, Anthropic was again expanding on their Claude for Open Source program: x.com/claudedevs/sta… @pranshusharma specifically pointed it out to me and while I was not exactly meeting formally enumerated requirements, I applied simply because their application form asked to "apply anyway"! We've resolved an issue where Fable was not selectable as a model within Claude.ai or Claude Code for a 30 minute period. You may need to restart Claude Code. If Fable is not your default model afterwards, you should reselect it with /model.

@claudeai Guys there is something wrong . I see my usage as 40% and my work has stopped. Please get a grip and don’t leave your paying customers hanging like this.

I have long been suggesting India create a network for Indian diaspora, of nurses and doctors, shippers and pilots, workers and constructors etc. Every Indian going out to work from India - record their skills, put them into a database, give them a community to connect to, with GoI giving info and incentives for them there. Use the power of this network when needed. Tap their skills if they return to India. And utilize their value outside India. All countries will be much more respectful to India if India can unify its diaspora workers and make them act in national interests like China does.

Before you switch anything, ask them to show you standardised multi-year pricing. If they don't, that's your answer. Enterprise software is a con-game of "discount" bullshit by vendors like Salesforce. Buyer beware!
