The indigenously designed and built Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor at Kalpakkam has attained criticality. International crude prices have gone through the roof in the last 1 month from around 70 dollars/barrel to around 122 dollars/barrel. Consequently, petrol and diesel prices for consumers have gone up all over the world. Prices have increased by around 30%-50% in South East Asian countries, 30% in North American countries, 20% in Europe and 50% in African countries. The Modi Government had two choices- either increase prices drastically for citizens of Bharat as all other nations have done or bear the brunt on its finances so that Indian citizen is insulated from international volatility. Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi Ji, in keeping with his Government’s commitment of last 4 years since the conflict in Russia-Ukraine started, decided to take a hit on its own finances again to safeguard the Indian citizen. Government has taken a huge hit on it taxation revenues to ensure very high losses of oil companies (approximately 24 Rs/litre for petrol and 30 Rs/litre for diesel) at this time of sky high international prices are reduced. At the same time, export tax has been levied as international prices of petrol and diesel have skyrocketed and any refinery exporting to foreign nations will have to pay export tax. My gratitude to Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi Ji and Hon’ble FM @nsitharaman Ji for this very timely, bold and visionary decision!

In view of the West Asia crisis, the central excise duty on petrol and diesel for domestic consumption has been reduced by ₹10 per litre each. This will provide protection to consumers from rise in prices. Hon. PM @narendramodi has always ensured that citizens are protected from vagaries of supply and costs of essential goods. Further, duties have been imposed on exports of Diesel at ₹21.5 per litre and on ATF at ₹29.5 per litre. This will ensure adequate availability of these products for domestic consumption. The Parliament has been notified about the same.

ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮನೆಗೂ ಶುದ್ಧ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರು ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷೆಯ 'ಜಲ ಜೀವನ್ ಮಿಷನ್' ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು 2028ರವರೆಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿ, ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿಯಾಗಿ 1.5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗಳ ಅನುದಾನ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ @narendramodi ಜೀ ರವರಿಗೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನತೆಯ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನೆ ಅಂಗಳಕ್ಕೆ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಲಕ ನೀರು ತಲುಪಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಗಳ ಬದ್ಧತೆ ಅಚಲವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೇವಲ 6 ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶದ ಶೇ. 82 ರಷ್ಟು ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಶುದ್ಧ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು ಒದಗಿಸಿರುವುದು ಒಂದು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಸಾಧನೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಈ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಅವಧಿ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುದಾನ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು ತಲುಪುವ ಖಚಿತತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇದು ಮೋದಿಜೀ ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ! ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಂದಿರ ಮತ್ತು ಸೋದರಿಯರ ದಶಕಗಳ ಕಾಲದ ನೀರಿನ ಬವಣೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಗಿಸಲು ಕೇಂದ್ರದ NDA ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತೋರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಬದ್ಧತೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಸ್ತುತ್ಯರ್ಹ. ಜಲ ಜೀವನ್ ಮಿಷನ್ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲ, ಇದು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ದೇಶದ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಜನರ ಘನತೆಯ ಬದುಕಿನ ದಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಒಟ್ಟು ವೆಚ್ಚ 8.69 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗಳಿಗೆ ಏರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ವಿಕಸಿತ ಭಾರತದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಜನರ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನೆಗೂ ಶುದ್ಧ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರು ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಸಾಕಾರಗೊಳಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಜೀ ಅವರ ಬದ್ಧತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಯಕತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಕೃತಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಗಳು. @DoWRRDGR_MoJS
