Catherine Prasifka: Pete Hegseth’s war-speak is straight out of an incel handbook – to his ilk, loss of life is just part of the game buff.ly/4nn7ydk
English

This week I wrote about the use of incel terminology in Trump’s war rhetoric, and what that means for how they view civilians and international humanitarian law.

My article this week: Room To Improve just hits different in a housing crisis.
The problem with reality TV is that it is in conversation with reality, whether or not the producers like it.

@FuascailtCait Hi Earnán, my two published novels continue to sell well. Thanks for checking in. Glad to see you’re starting the year as you mean to go on, trying to make women you don’t know feel bad on the internet.
English

@prasifcat Happy new year Catherine and great to see another clickbait piece in the media! No luck with any published works or books no?

This week I wrote about how the home is central to any celebration of Christmas.

@ThisDrinkinLife Merry Christmas pal. Don’t worry, things will get better.

I’m sharing this again. Based on the racist abuse that has been directed my way on the back of this piece, I think my point has been nicely proven.
No one has been able to justify why they aren’t as angry about Irish Cinderella as they are about the spice bag. Very telling.

Catherine Prasifka: We should be wary of those who want to preserve their own version of the past buff.ly/fUJKGta

@ThisDrinkinLife Do your family know you’re spending Christmas week trying to intimidate random women on the internet? Honestly, for their sake, I hope they don’t.
English

@prasifcat Even if I had ten pints I'd make more sense than that. Wtf u on about. Chancer, u know ur in over ur head. Imposter syndrome?
English

@helerina Hi Hélène, if you read the piece you’ll see that it referenced a podcast episode that I did listen to.
It’s not about a book, it’s about claims made in the public domain.
Have a merry Christmas, hopefully you have more to do this coming week than tweet at strangers.
English

@prasifcat Correct the record and inform the Independent readers that you haven’t read the book to which you referred in your opinion piece. It was dishonest of you and the paper.

@MartinCorryTD @prasifcat @243_cal Check her Instagram. It's literally just her laundering unpopular Government policy via Americanised opinion pieces in state media. To be fair to her, she most likely hates writing clickbait for Americans and South Dubliners as much as we hate reading it.

@FuascailtCait Lol ouch, wow you got me there. If you wanted to hurt my feelings, you sure have succeeded. Merry Christmas, maybe log of Twitter when you’re at the dinner table!
English

@prasifcat Catherine did you ever imagine as a young writer that the height of your career would be to write a poorly informed hit piece on a book you haven't read using Yankified terminology you don't quite understand just to wind up strangers on the Internet? Is this really your dream?
English

@StKev25111 @GrahamPrior12 I only wish I had the confidence of a random stranger on the internet who had decided to give a young woman a piece of their mind.
