“Dad, tell her..."
"Dad, tell him..." Daughter is back home, son has grown up enough to defend himself, and I'm now the official court of appeal for every sibling dispute. The arguments are loud, the complaints endless, and my heart couldn't be happier. Smiles :)

@pratapgrover No, you dont import most of your consumption basket. Your purchasing power depends on inflation not on FX directly. Your maths is not mathing.

When nimboos start behaving like luxury items… ₹359/kg and still average quality. What’s happening? Same at your place?

A Nilgai (blue bull) casually crossing a city street. We call it urban wildlife… they probably call it lost home.

Dhurandhar 2 was a 7/10 for me. Not as good as the first one, the lack of a clear villian like Akshaye Khanna was very much missing. And a lot of the conflict resolution felt very convenient but it just all comes together so well in the end. It makes it all worth it.

Do one thing try this! 90% of Thar or sedan owners travelling to snow don’t even know the basics: what AT, MT, HT or winter tyres are; the difference between RWD and AWD; what a cold start is; how or where to fit snow chains; correct tyre pressure for snow; what low ratio is used for; what oversteering means; which direction to steer during a skid; what antifreeze does; how to use a jack; what traction actually is; or what differential lockers are. Now ask the same questions to a Hilux or Jimny owner you’ll get answers from 90% of them. That’s the difference between passion for cars versus buying a vehicle just for show-off. All others know only this: start the car, stop on the road, shoot a reel, block traffic, hit other vehicles, turn back, and later file an insurance claim. Vacation done! 👍🏻

A few days ago, I cheated. I shared my 20% Rule: start many books, but if they don’t get sticky by 20%, move on. But that’s only half the truth. Many people find it even tough to reach 20%. "Too many distractions for even that", they say. Actually the real reason is something else. Books are outgunned by another opponent - the phone! Yes, the phone is the conduit to multiple distractions: YouTube, Insta, WhatsApp. But its real superpower isn’t content. It’s proximity. The DGT Your phone wins over books simply because it is your DGT: Default Go-To. It is always there with you. When you have three minutes before a Zoom call, your hand doesn't make a conscious decision. It just reaches. The A-C Gap The book, meanwhile, is sitting somewhere else. Hence, it suffers from the A-C Gap: the Accessibility-Continuity Gap. If the book isn’t accessible, continuity breaks. You forget the plot, you lose the thread, and picking it up again feels like school homework. So, you might as well watch the next reel. My fix was embarrassingly simple - I started carrying books everywhere. Client meetings. AI workshops I host. Coffee shops. Boarding gates. The same places where I used to “kill time” by scrolling, I started filling time with pages. It's a simple DGT Switch: the Default Go To switch. I carry a Kindle as well a physical book as my DGT. Along with other essentials like the water bottle, airpods, diary and pen. This change solved the accessibility problem, it removed the A-C gap, and helped me finish 25 books last year. I didn't become a disciplined ninja overnight. I just made the right thing easier to reach. So, you might want to try changing your DGT. Don't worry, your phone will survive the separation anxiety.

Fundamental flaw in Indian approach to exports. Bajaj exporting to 3rd world countries does not make it more competitive globally nor does it require Bajaj to move up the tech/value/Brand curve. Royal Enfield model of exporting to US/UK does. Don't be a Rahul, be a Siddhartha :)
Avishar Dutta@AvisharDutta

@DivaJain2 That ironically would be Bajaj - conquers export markets.
