@EmmaCleobury @BBCRadio4 @StPaulsLondon Everyone talks over music these days. Congregations regard the Communion Anthem as a chance to chat. Jess Gillan has a whole Radio 3 programme devoted to chit-chatting over great music!

Appalled that @bbcradio4 deemed it acceptable to provide commentary over the music in the Platinum jubilee service @StPaulsLondon. They didn’t talk over the spoken bits of the service, so why over the music? Is good music just muzak to Radio 4?

@sarahgailbrand I can sense it in myself. I guess musicians need people. An audience is a vital part of a good performance- but it’s more than that. There’s something telepathic beyond even the notes- a much more fundamental human need. A sense of “What’s it all about”.

@duolingo Could I also flag up the random “double points” tests which appear not to be optional! They seem to introduce vocabulary and grammar that are SO far beyond the normal exercises. What is the logic? I got into trouble by suggesting my method of screenshotting the correct answers!

@prattcj Yup! As a Plus subscriber, you receive the benefit of Health Shield. That disables the Health feature so you won't lose a bar of health for an incorrect answer.

Ridiculous time for “It Takes Two”!! Why?? We’ll have to watch it on Catch-Up/ record it- but will NEVER watch it at 5.15. Thoughts everyone??
