The mass shooter in Maine received a command referral to a military hospital over the summer after saying he was “hearing voices and wanted to hurt his fellow soldiers.” He spent weeks under evaluation… and a few months later, he was able to legally purchase the weapon he used to slaughter 18 people. If this is about “mental health” and not guns, why would you give someone struggling with their mental health… a gun?
