One of several catalysts that led to me stepping down from running a raiding guild was an incident where a raider had to repeatedly afk to take care of her kid one evening and I felt deeply frustrated with her. I didn't like who I was in that moment.

Patch 12.1 adds Discord integration to World of Warcraft, allowing Guild chats to be linked directly to Discord channels so you can still chat even when you're not in-game

@wochinimen When you lead a community, you open yourself up to a lot of people. It's a hard lesson but the toxic ones eventually root themselves out. If you ever need to vent to another community leader who's been through it, don't hesitate to reach out.
