For years, @RepThomasMassie was popular among MAGA: until he opposed a couple of Trump policies, and Trump told his followers to hate Massie him because he's a "grandstander" who accomplishes nothing. Overnight, huge numbers of MAGA followers started reciting that like some mantra.

Massie Stands Alone, Again
Once again, @RepThomasMassie stands alone.
To some, he represents a cog in the machine that is only there to obstruct or to self-aggrandize. After all, it's much easier to cheer for the mainline slop. To be a follower. To cheer in unison along the party line. To be a "team player" who is willing to represent party leadership instead of THE PEOPLE who chose him as the representative.
For the rest of us, Thomas Massie is remnant of our nation's founders. Standing boldly in defense of the principles the nation was founded upon.
To us, his defiance is a noble act upon which no praise could do it appropriate justice.
I often think the founders would be proud of what he says, but I wonder even moreso, how disgusted they would be with everyone else.
