The Election Commission has repeatedly said not to trust early trends on TV. They are as real as the LinkedIn hustle stories and are made up and sensationalized for TRP amid intense competition among channels on counting day.
Counting usually starts at 8 :30 a.m., and first-round numbers are typically uploaded between 9 :00–9 :30 a.m., but channels start showing trends as early as 8 :00 a.m.
Wait at least till 10 :00 a.m. for a clearer and more reliable picture.

Sibasish Sandilya, the topper of the Assam Public Service Commission exam in the Forest Service, was caught accepting a bribe.
I know, I know, what’s special about that? Officials get caught for this every now and then. What’s special is the amount: ₹12,000. A top-ranking gazetted officer risking his career and reputation for just ₹12,000 is beyond me. Why?
Maybe this level of brazenness comes from the fact that first, in India, getting caught in corruption has nothing to do with any lasting loss of reputation, and second, they know that once the initial dust settles, they’re eventually reinstated.

It is extremely difficult to dislodge TMC from Bengal.
Bengal had 27% Muslims in 2011, now it may be anywhere between 32–35%. They all vote for TMC. Imagine going into a fight where you need 51% to win, and 32–35% is already in your kitty.
The remaining 65–68% are divided. Some vote for TMC for its socialist policies, some out of fear of repercussions if they don’t, some belong to a self-proclaimed intellectual class whose sole identity is hating BJP, and some older voters remain loyal to the communists, effectively splitting the vote.
So, BJP winning Bengal would be nothing short of a miracle. I hope it happens.

I spoke to my son on the call who told me that they are taking Aman to Safdarjung Hospital. By the time I reached the hospital, the doctor had already declared him dead... As per the statement given by his father to the Police, around 10 pm last night, Aman had called him saying that he was distressed and it had become difficult for him to continue living. His father departed from Alwar right then and reached here around 12 in the night. Upon arriving, he learned that Aman had been having conflicts with his wife. He told his father that he had been harassed for the last two months. His wife (Swati) is a judicial officer, and her sister is an IAS officer (Nidhi Malik) currently posted in Jammu. According to Aman, Nidhi Malik had been interfering in his life, and she was controlling his household... Aman's father said that his daughter-in-law told him that if you don't leave from here, she would call the police... The next morning, Aman's father tried to contact his daughter-in-law's parents, but they had blocked his phone... Then an argument broke out in the house. So Aman's father went to the other room. According to him, Swati was extremely angry and shouting, while Aman was crying. After a while, the noise stopped. He waited for a while, thinking that the argument had been resolved. When he went to check up on them after some time, he asked Swati about Aman's whereabouts, to which she replied that she did not know. .. When he called Aman's mobile, he heard it ringing inside the bathroom. He knocked on the bathroom door and asked him to open the door. During this, Yudhvir (Swati's chacha) and Nidhi Malik arrived. They tried a lot, banged the furniture against the door, but the door didn't open. Then the neighbours told them that there was a window in the shaft. So they got a ladder. The guard Shankar climbed the ladder, broke the window and entered the bathroom. He found Aman hanging... Aman was 30 years old..."

IIT entrance exam 2027 Maths question:
Mohan has to travel from point A to point B, which can be reached via two routes.
On Route 1, which is 800 km long, he can drive at an average speed of 72 km/h and will take 11 hours to reach. On Route 2, which is 645 km long, he can drive at 107 km/h and will take 6 hours to reach.
So the question is, if Mohan takes Route 2, then point B par 5 ghanta pehle pahunch kar Mohan kya kijiyega?
Bonus question: if Mohan is taking Route 2 made by a capitalist when Route 1 is already available, then Mohan ka jaat kya hoga?
