💌 sweet message to “ot7” boycotters You’re doing too much. Enhypen might be down to earth people that communicate often with their fans, but they’re not your friends. You’re not going to save them with hashtags and boycotts. They’re multimillionaire artists with access to top lawyers and counsel. They are not helpless fools. With a whole career change, of course this is not some one-sided label decision. Contract changes are mutually agreed upon, and you don’t understand that because you’re not even an adult yet. You’ve never dealt with something like that before. Enhypen works hard because they’re ambitious and they’re passionate about putting out good performances. It’s also a job that earns very well. Why shouldn’t they tour and earn as much as they can while they are still hot and in demand? Stop trying to prevent them from getting their bag All that stuff about them being “slaves” and not earning anything? Look at what they wear day to day. Look at what they donate yearly. What you’re saying doesn’t add up. 👉“They sold you Evan and you bought it.” That was him sharing himself, not a name that was sold to you by the company. That’s his english name since grade school. If you paid attention to him at all this past year and a half, you’d know he was serious about presenting himself as Evan. And if you’ve read his interviews spanning back as far as 2020, he has said many times how much he yearns to present a better version of himself that can showcase his own music to the world. Respect him and his dreams. Are you even a fan if you don’t? 👉Why can’t he do both solo and group work? Because it is impossible if Heeseung has desires to perform and tour his own music. In his most recent fancall, he asked his fan to come to see his performances in the future. That’s evidence that it’s not just going to be 1-2 weeks of music shows and that be it for his solo work. If it was only that, he could do both. But if Heeseung does want to tour his music, his schedule would directly clash with Enhypen’s, and a group of six other people should not have to go on hiatus for one member. 👉“How can they erase him just like that?” Heeseung’s not erased. His album credits and existing contracts in group brand deals, fancalls, games, and Dark Moon universe are still in effect. Those are outside contracts apart from Hybe that will turn into penalties if Heeseung is not included because he was part of those contract before he left the group. Penalties that he would likely had to pay if he doesn’t follow through. Do you really want him in debt before his debut? 👉Enhypen is now 6 whether you accept it or not. You can’t expect all present and future contents of the group to contain Heeseung’s name when he’s no longer part of the group. That’s not erasure, that’s being real. If James Harden leaves the Houston Rockets, of course his name is not gonna be on the season’s roster. That’s not erasure. That’s how every industry works. Heeseung is now former member, a fact you’re going to have to get used to if you still want to follow Enhypen. Fanbases and fans who are supporting the remaining six members are not villains. I’m not talking about the ones that keep dragging, but the normal ones that are just moving forward because they’ve just accepted reality. It doesn’t mean Heeseung wasn’t a part of their past. He’s just, unfortunately, no longer part of their future. That realization may be really hurtful and hard to swallow, but it’s not fair for you to impose your personal will over an artist you don’t even know personally. Once you stop acting on your emotions, you’ll soon realize there’s going to be a whole lot of good music to listen to from both Enhypen and Heeseung. None of them are crying and asking you to rescue them. They’re happy, thriving, and excited to present a new era, and it’s about damn time that fans start to match their energy.
