🚨 Official Confirmation: Trump’s Signature to Appear on Future U.S. Paper Currency
WASHINGTON, D.C., March 28, 2026 — The U.S. Department of the Treasury has officially confirmed that President Donald J. Trump’s signature will be placed on future U.S. paper currency, marking a historic first for a sitting president.
According to the Treasury announcement, newly printed bills expected to enter production in June 2026 will feature Trump’s signature alongside the signature of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. This breaks a 165‑year tradition in which U.S. currency carried the signatures of the Treasury Secretary and the U.S. Treasurer.
Officials framed the move as a symbolic recognition tied to the United States’ 250th anniversary, emphasizing its significance to the nation’s financial history.
