@Shpigford Depends on what your goal is i guess. Something like raycast or obsidian or even notion where the basic version just works perfectly without having those annoying pop ups all the time has my respect.

i wonder if there's a business to be had with clearly.md it's totally fine if not. there's no system overhead to run it. but given markdown is having a massive surge in popularity, i *do* wonder if there's something worth exploring. 🤔

@simpsoka I can’t start chats without a project in the Chats section, even though that seems to be its purpose. Also, it would be great if Chats there used my ChatGPT quota instead of Codex, since ChatGPT Plus feels unlimited while Codex feels constrained—but this is just a suggestion.

@simpsoka Thank you! Two quick issues: Google Calendar connector in Codex says the app is blocked — not sure how to fix this. After restarting Codex, the Popout Window hotkey always opens in the center; I’d love to anchor it elsewhere, ideally bottom-center like the ChatGPT app.

@ajambrosino Let Chats section consume ChatGPT usage in Codex, maybe introduce Sync with ChatGPT for the chats. Phase out the ChatGPT Mac app. Make pop out window open at a specific area instead of centre of screen. Fix Google Cal Blocked issue.

It's now the end of April and a lot of you are expecting the new Raycast to be publicly available for download. So many of you rely on it hundreds of times per day, so it's really important that it's as stable, performant, and delightful as it should be. For this reason we're rolling it out in stages. We've already sent many invites and are continuing to send them as fast as we can, while we address any issues that come up while the new version is in beta. Send us feature requests for codex in the form of an images 2.0 generated image. It makes it easier for codex to implement if we decide to go for it. Saw some good ones today already that codex is cooking on.

Codex team, this bug is extremely frustrating. It keeps happening every 5 minutes, and it seriously disrupts my workflow. I’d really appreciate a fix as soon as possible. @thsottiaux @embirico @ajambrosino

@13doots Such a retarded take. If I run out of codex, you're suggesting I run out of ChatGPT too now? Doesn't it sound similar to that other product that we hate? I totally agree that they could rebalance it so that Codex gets a higher/better share, but it shouldn't be like Anthropic.

If OpenAI really wants Codex to grow, the move is obvious: → unify usage credits → or rethink limits entirely inside Codex Don’t bottleneck your most engaged users right when they’re going deeper. Codex isn’t a side tool anymore. It’s where things actually get done.

@thsottiaux Yesterday I added a password to my OpenAI account and instead of logging out and showing you a login screen, the app got bricked, and even if I reinstall it, it stayed bricked. Codex CLI helped me fix it.

It’s the little things that matter, what are some small papercuts you have noticed in Codex? We’ll fix as many as possible in the next week.
