I'm reading a very good book at the moment on Isaiah. In it I noticed a phrase that jarred at first. On creation it said "so much is fallen". Surely it is all fallen? But then I thought again. Not the good angels. They're not fallen. That's something that gives hope, I guess.

Actress Miriam Margolyes, 84, interviewed recently, said of her acting "I've got better as I've got older, there's no question. I'm a really good actress now but it's come a bit late." Many preachers could say something similar. How can we help younger preachers mature earier?
