This is the real incident. Not in the news, and I won’t be able to take his name openly. A Nari village in Gujarat planned a 7-day Katha and invited one of the top Kathakars of the state. His demands - He wanted ₹25 lakh rupees just to do the Katha. - New clothes and slippers every single day. - Even his food had to be served in brand new utensils daily. - A separate toilet only for him. - After all arrangements, his team would come and inspect everything and ask for changes if required. - His stay had to be luxury level, fully air-conditioned. - If someone invited him to their house for 5 minutes, they had to pay ₹21,000 rupees. The villagers still agreed to everything. They even offered him the best bungalow in the village for his stay. He said he wouldn’t stay in the village. He asked for a hotel in Bhavnagar city, 10 km away from the village, and said he would come daily from there for the Katha. The villagers requested him to stay in the village. They said, “If you are coming here, at least give us a chance to serve you.” But he did not agree. The villagers cancelled the Katha.

@prem_sukh29 Yes, u can fight after 30 days. However i dont think compensation will be much in this case. You have to document financial loss/time loss/mental agony.

ये घर के बिस्किट हैं। पारले, ब्रिटानिया जैसे ब्रांड वाले बाज़ार के होते हैं। ये बिस्किट होने के साथ-साथ बचपन की यादें भी हैं। हमारी माँ को भरोसा था कि बाज़ार के बिस्किट अच्छे नहीं होते। हम अपना आटा, देसी घी, दूध वगैरह लेकर पास की एक बेकरी जाते थे। घर का बड़ा बेटा होने के नाते मुझे बेकरी भेजा जाता था, तीन डिब्बों में सारा सामान और माँ की हिदायत के साथ: “जब बेकरी वाला सामान मिलाए, तो पूरा ध्यान रखना… नहीं तो हमारे देसी घी की जगह वो डालडा मिला देगा।” मैं खुद को पूरा धुरंदर समझते हुए बेकरी वाले के बिल्कुल पास बैठ जाता। जैसे ही वो सामान मिलाना शुरू करता, मैं उसकी हर हरकत पर नज़र गड़ाए रहता, पूरी चौकसी के साथ। वो क्या सोचता होगा मेरे बारे में, पता नहीं… शायद भीतर ही भीतर मुस्कुराता भी होगा। दो-तीन घंटे मैं वहीं डटा रहता, जब तक भट्टी से निकलकर गरम-गरम बिस्किट डिब्बे में सज न जाएँ।वैसे सबसे स्वादिष्ट वो एक-दो बिस्किट होते थे, जो बेकरी वाला भट्टी से निकालकर मुझे गरमा-गरम चखने को देता था। अब वही बिस्किट राजस्थान से भाई बनवाकर भेजता है। हर बार जब नया डिब्बा आता है, तो बचपन के उस मासूम जासूस की कहानी याद आ जाती है।
