NEWS - I am SO excited to announce that I have written my first ever children’s book, “Racing Toward a Dream”, in collaboration with Kids at Heart Publishing LLC.
Outside of racing in @ARCA_Racing, I am also a paraprofessional at @WWayneSchools and a counselor in the Golay Community Center youth “Super Summer Fun” program. This book is written to motivate children to follow their dreams, and show them that anything is possible with hard work and dedication. In an effort to give back to the community that has shown so much support of my dream, I will be donating a copy of the book to every Pre-K through 2nd Grade classroom at Western Wayne Elementary School, as well as the Cambridge City Public Library.
With help from the Golay Community Center, I initiated a program this summer to allow children in the Super Summer Fun camp to illustrate all of the pictures within the book. All 28 pages feature original artwork by local community kids, with grade levels ranging from Pre-K to 6th Grade. Cover artwork is by Jesse Moody (@JMGraphicsTw).
Please note that this is a PRE-ORDER. The full color, hard cover book is expected to be in-hand later this fall, in time for Christmas.
