Proud to have attended last night’s Prairie Rose SD Board Meeting along with so many other local presidents and MTS members. PRTA members were eloquent and powerful in their message to keep their schools and libraries as safe and supportive spaces.

It was a packed house at last night’s LRTA Retirement Reception to celebrate the careers of our retiring colleagues. Thank you to everyone who attended and to LRTA member @JamesRCBedford for speaking on behalf of the retiring class of 2023!

This evening, at the St. Boniface Golf Club - 100 Youville Street, we will be hosting the LRTA Retirement Reception. We look forward to celebrating the careers of our esteemed peers alongside friends, family, and colleagues.

Last night at our Council meeting, we distributed Progress Pride flags in recognition of the diversity of our members and school communities so that each of our worksites can proudly display them as part of their Pride month celebrations.

Tonight we held our LRTA Appreciation Dinner. It was a lovely gathering to thank the many members who volunteered their time this year to the Association on behalf of their colleagues. We are grateful for your many contributions and continued support!

Grateful to LRTA members who spoke bravely and powerfully tonight to highlight their concerns with Bill 35. There will be another few nights of presentations as teachers are coming to the table with strong valid worries and serious questions about the Bill as it is written.
