Despite my love of TV spy-fi, I have never seen The Secret Service, the experimental Anderson show scrapped mid-series by Lew Grade. Some people tell me it is a forgotten gem, others suggest it is dire. Perhaps Supermarionation and 60s espionage had already peaked by then.

Thing I find fascinating about Ken is how (apart from his v early days) he never ACTED on TV. Obvs he very often appeared as himself & did loads of voice work but never a sitcom, never a guest star part. Wouldn’t even do the TV Carry On stuff.
