Love slams doors and breaks things. Love bombs you with unwanted gifts. Love calls you names. Love asks to change your outfit. Love makes you share your location. Love controls the purse strings. Love kills two women a week. Love is not love when there are red flags.

Gender stereotyped behaviour socialises men to be tough and strong. Courageous. Domineering. To push down emotion except anger, and to show no fear. This produces a fertile ground for men to be controlling, dominant and violent towards women. #16DaysOfActivism
