Jesus' words shall never fail. Cling to Jesus and let not any trouble make you loose your hold on Him as if He has forgotten you.

O Christ, thou Savior of man, I do not fully understand how You the Creator could die for the creatures sake. But one thing that I know, and that is that You died in my place. This is the meaning of the Atonement.

From my distess Jesus delivers me.

Jesus is a very present help in the time of trouble.

If you want to be like Jesus then expect to suffer many things, but fear not for Jesus suffered before and our confession is that "from them all the Lord has delivered me".

Let us not shrink from anything that conforms us to His image or advances His glory.

From all eternity Jesus contemplated His Passion and by His prophets revealed it those who had an ear to heàr.

Jesus, teach me how I may rest in You with constant trust, and love You more and more.

If we look to Jesus our weakness will call forth His strength.

Jesus ministered among men, doing the mighty works of God, but He suffered scorn among His people.

In Christ poverty is rich, without Christ riches and power are poor and feeble.

Man desires earthly wants, but it is more profitable for man to pursue earthly riches.

Never seek the greatness of this world, but rather strive to realise the powers of the world to come.
